| Based on the SIF specification, SIFWorks VRF employs a Service–Oriented Architecture (SOA) developed to solve the administrative challenge of educational data and software interoperability. SIFWorks VRF drives a statewide educational data collection process, managing the difficult behind–the–scenes work of automating the movement of key data from individual school and district data sources—e.g., student and faculty information that is stored in disparate software applications—to data warehouses at the state education agency.
