The D3M Alliance has created—specifically to meet the unique data interoperability needs of State education agencies—an open data framework that provides a replicable, enterprise interoperability architecture that addresses state reporting needs for identity management, vertical reporting and longitudinal data management. | | |

In addition to the creation of the open framework, the D3M Alliance members will work with current and prospective state clients to share best–practice information and participate in collaborative design that will benefit all states in addressing the data management issues of No Child Left Behind and other reporting mandates. | | |
