Edustructures Receives First SIF Agent Certification to the SIF 2 Specification
Leading SIF Solutions Provider Advances SIF Market Leadership and Support of Education Interoperability with Delivery of the First SIF 2-Certified Agents

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah—April 15, 2008—Edustructures, the leading provider of Schools
Interoperability Framework (SIF®) solutions for the education market, today announced the company
has received SIF 2 certification for the market-leading SIF Agent for SASI™. This is the first
student information systems (SIS) agent to be certified to the SIF 2.0r1 specification by the
Schools Interoperability Framework Association (SIFA), the industry standards body behind the SIF
specification.

Additionally, the company has received SIF 2.0r1 certification for the SIFWorks® Electronic
Transcript Frameworks (ETF), the industry’s first SIF-based, end-to-end solution for electronic
transcript and student record exchange, and the SIFWorks Vertical Reporting Frameworks® (VRF®).
Previously, the SIFWorks Enterprise Zone Integration Server (ZIS) was the first ZIS to receive
SIF 2.0r1-certification against all four levels of security in the new specification. The
advanced-security certification of the SIFWorks Enterprise ZIS offers Edustructures’ customers the
most secure SIF-based solution for data exchange and interoperability in education.
