Edustructures' project managers work closely with the state and other vendors, defining and tracking critical success factors, and developing and managing rollout schedules for both the state office and individual districts. - Analysis and planning—we work with your team to determine the specific business objectives of each district and then map out an implementation plan tailored to your timetable, applications and personnel.
- Project Management—by assigning a dedicated project manager and architect to work closely with the state and other vendors involved in your implementation, Edustructures defines and tracks critical success factors, assuring that your project remains on track for both the state office and individual districts.
- Deployment Survey and Wizard—the Edustructures Deployment Wizard has been a key success factor in several state implementations! The Deployment Wizard architecture uses a Web–based survey to collect key information about the network and application mix within each district in the state. At installation time, the state–specific installer queries the survey Web site to access the configuration information. The Wizard then automatically defines agents, zones, network access, and security based on the survey responses. The Deployment Wizard is more than an installer; it is a custom “configurator” that saves several hours per district and avoids many opportunities for error.
- SIFWorks® Installation & Configuration—After we have completed analysis and planning for your specific implementation needs, our implementation process includes the installation of the SIFWorks Zone Integration Server, creating zones, defining the agents registered in each zone, and the configuration of access control permissions.
- SIF Agent Setup—In conjunction with the installation and configuration of the SIFWorks ZIS, Edustructures completes the installation and testing the SIF agents registered in the zone.
- Initial Data Synchronization—Once the SIFWorks ZIS and SIF agent have been installed, Edustructures oversees the initial data synchronization within the SIF zone.
